Our story
Born in Donegal,
made for everywhere.
SILKILINEN began with a simple belief — that the garments closest to your skin should be made from the finest natural fibres, and made well enough to outlive the moments they were worn for. We source mulberry silk and European linen. Both are old fibres. Cared for gently, they last decades — long enough to be folded away, found again, passed on. A silk robe worn on a wedding morning can be worn by a daughter on hers. That's the kind of garment we want to make. Every piece is designed and crafted in Donegal, on the north-west coast of Ireland, where the light, the sea, and the stillness shape everything we do. The colours come from the Irish landscape — the copper of autumn bracken, the deep green of moss on stone, the soft blue of an Atlantic morning, the wine of a slow winter dusk. We work in small batches, slowly and carefully, so that what reaches you is exactly what we intended — something you'll reach for again and again, and one day, someone else will too.
